For AI agents & developers

Cited charity evidence your agent can quote safely.

Everything on the donor site is also available as structured data, with the evaluator, period and source link attached to every figure. Read-only, no key, no charges. Start with the MCP quickstart, or point a crawler at llms.txt.

The short contract

  • Cite the evaluator, the period and the source link with every number. The full rules are in how to quote us.
  • Modeled, not guaranteed. Cost-effectiveness figures are evaluators' modeled averages. Never phrase one as a price or a promise.
  • Null means not yet rated. Never fill, estimate or extrapolate a missing figure.
  • One unit at a time. Lives saved, WELLBYs and income are separate leaderboards; never merge them into one score.
  • Payment never touches rank. Sponsored or featured fields cannot change a tier, figure or confidence level.
  • No money moves, no tax advice. Giving intents are deep links only; never assert that a gift is deductible for someone.

Privacy

We count anonymous requests (path, a coarse client class such as ai:gptbot, referring site, country, status) to learn which surfaces are useful. No IP addresses, user agents, cookies, query strings or request bodies are stored. MCP calls record only the JSON-RPC method and tool name.

Local demo

The repository includes a donor demo UI that runs against a local copy of the API. Open the demo (it expects http://127.0.0.1:8787).
