What's changed

Every update, in the open.

When an evaluator's figures change, when we add a charity, or when we open a follow-up record, it appears here. Nothing is edited silently.

  1. New quick answers to common donor questions, such as “What's the best charity for malaria?”

Short, sourced answers to common donor questions, built from the charities evaluators rate highest. No winner is picked.

  2. New side-by-side comparisons: Against Malaria Foundation and Helen Keller Intl; Against Malaria Foundation and Malaria Consortium; Against Malaria Foundation and New Incentives; Helen Keller Intl and Malaria Consortium and more

Charities rated by the same evaluator in the same unit, with the published figures next to each other. No winner is picked.

  3. Launched a plain-English page for every charity, cause and approach we track

Each page gives the evaluator's published figures with source and period, how strong the evidence is, ways to give and common questions. Generated from our cited data, so new evaluator data produces new pages automatically.

  4. Follow-up records opened for AMF — ITN campaigns DRC 2027–2029 (GiveWell grant), Against Malaria Foundation, Friendship Bench, Helen Keller Intl, Malaria Consortium, New Incentives, Pure Earth, StrongMinds, Taimaka

We recorded what the evaluators published and scheduled a re-check against their later updates. A record is a promise to look again, not a measured result.
